Had water heater and HVAC system converted to heat pump. Steve, the owner of the company, was the one who suggested what my house needs and had a good price for both systems. It's such a nice feeling to have the owner of the company come in and analyze and estimate your needs. Water heater and HVAC systems were installed by Nate and Ed. Both did the job impeccably well and at a professional and perfectionist level. These two gentlemen are highly experienced and highly recommended. They made sure the install was perfect—do it once so no issues later. Even the inspector told me that he never had issues with these guys and does the inspection only once for all their installs. Ed and Nate also improved the ductwork, raised the air exchange unit, and it is now better protected from dust and elements up in the attic and corrected the water evap line pipings of my system, and now my house is heating evenly with no cold spots. Can't wait to have this system in summer and see the electricity savings. I highly recommend Mac's Plumbing Heating and Air, and I will be a lifetime customer from now on.

They recently installed a new Daikin Fit Heat Pump and Air Handler in my home to replace AC and a gas furnace. Everyone who came to my house was on time as scheduled and behaved with courtesy and professionalism. They gave me a good price and did quality work. They coordinated all the rebates from SMUD and CA Tech Update. I only had one small form to fill out for SMUD. All the work passed building inspection without difficulty. The office staff was exceptional in their knowledge and effort. They coordinated everything including the building inspector. The installation was not simple in moving the existing unit out from inside and connecting the new unit to the garage, but their workmanship was top notch. Quieter Than Our Gas Furnace
Mac's just installed an all-electric Trane heat pump for heating and cooling our house. Our old furnace/AC system was 28 years old and was on its last legs. They arrived at 8 a.m. and were done by 6 p.m. They removed all our old equipment, and did a beautiful job cleaning up. Our new system is quieter than our gas furnace. Nate and Ed did a great job. And Steve (the owner) was several thousand dollars below two other bidders. Nate is coming back in a day or two to check how things are running. We still have to have the city inspect the installation. But at this point, I can say we are very impressed and pleased.
